LURING:
Murderer says, "Omg, I've got these freakishly amazing diamonds that I'll sell to you for only one dollar each! Tpa to me!" -noob gets killed-
During LURING, no money is handed over to the murderer. If Noob had given Murderer one dollar for the diamond, Murderer would either have to give Noob one dollar back, or the diamond he promised.
Another form of LURING is if you tpa someone to you, and they kill you. It's sort of a reverse-lure, but still is allowed.
Basically, the reason Luring is allowed is because it became much to difficult to moderate and everyone was constantly screaming about how so-so had lured them and how they lost full sets of diamond armor and blah blah blah. It became almost impossible to figure out who had really lost what. Luring is allowed.
SCAMMING:
Scammer says, "Oh heyyy, I've got this really cheap deal for you! Here, I'll give a stack of diamonds for two diamond swords!" Noob and Scammer meet up in a no pvp area (because Noob isn't really a noob), Noob tosses Scammer the two diamond swords, and then Scammer takes both the promised stack of diamonds AND the two diamonds swords home with him. This is a SCAM and it is NOT ALLOWED. Scammer must either return the two diamond swords, or fulfill his promised bargain.
Another form of a scam that is not allowed is for Scammer to set up a sign shop to sell diamonds cheap, but then having a trapdoor underneath the sign shop to kill those who buy from him. That's a scam, and it is NOT allowed.
NEW: If you sell a damaged tool to someone, tell them how damaged it is beforehand, and agree on a lower price. Do not sell damaged tools to people who are paying you for new tools.
The reason scamming is not allowed, is because there is no safe way for members to trade items, so we make scamming illegal to allow different parties to trade in a somewhat more safe way.
OTHER:
Just to clarify, killing people in a no-pvp area is not allowed! That means making falling traps, placing lava, or potion pvping in a no-pvp area is a HUGE no-no.
